V02a was the Spanish language flavor of the Cuban DGI . Superseded by HM01 .
In the headers, the actual header comprised the first 4 digits, while the last digit was either 1 or 2.
V02a replaced the previous format V02 in 1997. In November 2012, V02a was replaced by HM01, and since then it had persisted only in sporadic transmissions on the 20:00 UTC schedule of M08a , always on Tuesday or Thursday. With the apparent cessation of transmissions from M08a after February 2019, V02a has also ceased.
