Priyom G08 · Four Note Rising Scale
| Statut | Inactive |
|---|---|
| Voix | Female, automated (the same as G06 and G07) |
| Mode d'émission | AM |
| Localisation | German Democratic Republic (East Germany) |
G08 was operated by East German Ministry for State Security (Stasi). Last heard in May 1990, shortly before the German unification. G08 was transmitted from Zeesen, and remotelly controlled from Wernsdorf. [source]
Note that G08 adjusted its broadcast times to Daylight Saving Time. Towards the end of the Cold War, the above schedule became erratic, and few or even none of these schedules could have been heard.

In this variant, the intro was a series of rapid beeps, rather than a 4-note rising scale. The transmissions then continued as in regular G08 .
The exact same beeps were also used by S05a.
